FiberVision®S
Automated fluorescence microscope for easy acquisition of combing signals with 12 samples storage
Developed for Life Science research applications of single DNA molecule analysis, the new FiberVision® S sits comfortably on a lab bench and delivers high quality fluorescence imaging.
Thanks to the high flexibility of imaging configuration and the different filter options, the FiberVision® S is designed to provide a versatile, easy-to-use solution for different Molecular Combing applications.
After the Molecular Combing procedure and immunodetection, one coverslip carries hundreds of copies of the genome,
in the form of long single DNA molecules. The coverslips are mounted on glass slides and loaded on a 12-slide tray for the scanning procedure. A built-in camera facilitates sample processing by identifying samples automatically.
Once the scan is completed, the images are transferred and stored at the workstation where the tiling and analysis can be started immediately using the FiberStudio® software.
